A short film revisited!

As my project seems to be heading toward ‘multimedia’ I thought I would repost this film I made a while back. I happened upon it whilst trawling through ill-named folders in search of that elusive image file with only digits for a title. I had a semi professional 8mm camera given to me and  although it had a host of features, it was just too big. I put one reel of film through it not knowing what to expect, or even if the thing functioned, this is the result. I would like to make another on a lesser, more simplified camera but like so many things, it comes down to time and money.

Christmas photos are up!

Hi to you all and a somewhat late seasonal greeting (only 50% of it is late though).

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Here are a selection of photos from the Christmas part of the festive period. I hope you like them.

More of the same!

Well. Last night I went to bed, not long after tucking Henri in, rather stuffed after a lovely Christmas Day with my sister’s family. Excellent food and excellent company. While my thoughts turned to fitness and health last night, I woke to the realisation that I, along with my partner-in-crime Henri, will be doing it all again today with the rest of my family! Repeat: do not eat anymore chocolate, do not eat anymore chocolate…

Henri Doodles

I had to add this photo of one of Henri’s doodles done this weekend. We had just returned from the swimming pool where he swam three metres underwater for the first time. Obviously amped by this achievement he decided to write about it – along with random drawings! I love the fact that the word metres is spelt in two different ways. Taking into account I had not helped him in any way astounds me, he has his three mets [metres] swim in past tense whilst his fictional 25 mitus [metres] swim is in the present. Oh, and the elfurt [elephant] and dog where both his from start to finish. He makes me smile.

Henri has lost his first tooth

Henri’s first tooth came out yesterday. It had been flapping about for a long time attached by a smidgin of flesh so I, and many others, was relieved when a little tug pulled the tiny tooth out.
